I have read all the the threads relating to this issue and not one actually solves my problem.

For a start there is no processes tab to open in task Manager in Windows 7.

You can see the task and you can end the task but what do you do when Firefox is running , does and does show up in the task menu ?

i have tried the profile editing string %APPDAT%\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles but according to Windows 7 this string or path does not exist.

This happened

A few times a week

I closed Firefox

User Agent

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/532.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/4.1.249.1064 Safari/532.5

Don't worry , I can't type. There is a Capital on "Profiles" and it should read that Firefox is running but does not show up in the processes running list
