I have 12 copies of the same bookmark on the bookmark toolbar which I cannot modify or delete. I've gone through the normal steps of right clicking and hitting 'delete', I've used the organize bookmarks steps as normal, I cannot modify or delete these bookmarks. I have xmarks installed, I've repeatedly gone back to earlier synced versions of my bookmarks but each time I restart firefox the unwanted bookmarks keep coming back. I've disabled and uninstalled xmarks, and reinstalled firefox, they keep coming back. I'm running out of ideas.

Hi Bryan.

Have you actually tried running Firefox without xmarks enabled? Running in safemode will do it, if you don't want to go through the trouble of disabling it manually. If that fixes the issue, it's obviously a problem with the extension, and you should ask its author or use its support forum for help.
