Most times when I open Firefox my bookmark tab-bar is empty, I save some websites in the tab-bar then quit Firefox then reopen it and my save tabs are gone.

To solve this I tried to import my save bookmarks from Safari, which works fine. Then suddenly after closing and reopening Firefox, it saves every web page I have been on as a bookmark in the tab bar.

I really need help with this, its driving me crazy.

If you use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox in Firefox 3.5 and later or Clear Private Data in Firefox 3 to clear the 'Browsing History' when Firefox is closed then restoring tabs from the last session ("Save & Quit" or "Show my windows and tabs from last time") doesn't work.
