I saved all of my Firefox bookmarks from my old PC to a flashdrive (totaling 24 folders containing html links). Now that my new PC is up and running how do I transfer the bookmarks saved to my flashdrive to the bookmarks folder in Firefox?

I want to transfer the Firefox bookmarks that I saved from my old PC to my new PC. I saved them on a flashdrive. I want to be able to copy these saved bookmarks to Firefox on my new PC, but don't know what folder or file to copy them to so that they will appear as bookmarks when I open Firefox on my new PC.

How did you save your bookmarks, in particular what format did you save them in? There are 2 methods to export/backup bookmarks in Firefox, one saves them in an HTML file, the other in a JSON file.

If you saved your bookmarks to an HTML file, see importing Bookmarks from an HTML File. If you saved them in JSON format, follow the procedure in the backing up and restoring bookmarks article.

Make sure that the file with the bookmarks has the correct file extension: .html for a HTML backup and .json for a JSON backup.

If you are not sure about the file type then you can open the file in Firefox via "File > Open File"

A JSON backup will show as one long text line without line breaks and a HTML backup as a web page with clickable links.
