If I shrink print size to 8-with CTL++ I can see the web page properly but it is hard to read. Started 2 weeks ago. The pages used to open in wide screen mode (gmail still does), but now the whole page is cramped into the center third of my computer screen. Also the various parts of web page have VERY different print and picture sizes. I run Win XP sp3, and also am having this problem with netbook running Windows 7

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)

If you increased the minimum font size then try the default setting 'none' as a high value can cause issues like you described.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
