Hey, when i use firefox i always have multiple tabs open and they usually save. But when i upgraded to Firefox 4 no tabs are saving when i close the window it just closes all tabs. I checked in the settings option and there is nothing on how to save tabs before closing. The option that use to come up on the old version does not appear when i close firefox only the close tabs option.

This feature is set to false by default in firefox4.

However to activate it do the following steps.

  1. Type about:config in the address bar and press enter.
  2. Click on I'll be careful, I promise
  3. Enter browser.warnOnQuit in the filter field at top
  4. Double click (toggle) on it to change the boolean value to true.
  5. Now enter browser.showQuitWarning in the filter field
  6. Double click on it to change it to true
  7. Now restart Firefox
