[Solved] I am programming a rich text editor using javascript and html5. When I type a single quote ' the Quick Find window opens and my window loses the focus. How do I get around this problem?

The single quote shows up all the time in words like don't and isn't so it is typed often. In doing a rich text editor, I am not using a text box. If the future of programming is Web apps, then others will have this problem.

No, the midas editor works OK on the single quote, but I can't use it as I need to be able to place each character and add additional graphics, all in canvas. I found out that e.stopPropagation after the keypress command stops the command from bubbling up, and that fixed the problem. Thank you.
