As I click on the down scroll arrow, I inadvertently hit the LOCK icon (when viewing https:// websites. This brings up the security window which I promptly close. This happens multiple times each day.

Is there a way to delete or move the lock icon?

By the way, the same thing happens with the "Show Desktop" button in the lower right hand corner of the screen. Would like to be able to move that one as well.

Thank you.

Keith

You can hide the Status Bar: View > [] Status Bar

You can still see the security information by the background color of the Site Identity Button on the location bar.

You can also update to Firefox 5.0.1.

Firefox version 4 and later no longer have the Status Bar, but use an Add-ons bar that extensions can use to place buttons on.
