I keep asking this question and I'm not getting an answer. I am up to date but I still keep crashing.

The plug ins, are up to date but I keep crashing. Like, 10 times in a row. It's really annoying. I've never had this problem with any other browser. I need to know why it keeps crashing for no reason. Could you find a solution so I can fix it. It seems worse when I am playing a game called Restaurant City on Facebook but it crashes when I'm elsewhere too. I even crashes sometime when I go to the firefox tab on the top of the page.

Obviously Firefox should not be repeatedly crashing, so something is amiss.

I did not notice any previous questions. Have a read of firefox crashes

If most of your crashes relate to one particular site that site could be the main problem. Sometimes crashes are even caused by PCs overheating when used on particular sites.

It may help if you are able to obtain crash IDs, and if you can work out some sort of pattern as to when Firefox crashes.

I did read Firefox crashes, nothing seems applicable. This problem only happened recently after a firefox update. I will see if I can get a crash ID, if I can figure out where to find that. Thanks for your help John99. I'll be baaaaack!

This report also contains technical information about the state of the application when it crashed.

I note from reading the above mention of idvault and whitesky.

Use of idvault is causing Firefox 6 crashes, e.g. it is one of the commonest current causes. A bug has been filed WhiteSky is aware of the problem and working on fixing it. Apparently over 80 thousand Firefox crashes last week were attributed to use of a particular idvault .dll component.

You should be able to find crash IDs by following the instructions in the KB article but having noted you are apparently using idvault we appear to have found the problem. I suggest you try disabling idvault or Comcast Constant Guard whatever, see if that results in a dramatic improvement.
