It seems like since 7.0.1 loaded on my computer, I've been having a lot of freeze-ups. It doesn't matter what web page I'm on, the page will freeze, I'll get the "Mozilla Firefox not responding" message and usually within 15-30 seconds it'll be fine. It'll happen about every 10-15 minutes. I don't get that on Explorer, and I have an older version of Firefox on my work laptop and it doesn't do it. I do a virus scan every night. I tried removing Firefox and reloaded it, it doesn't help.

The default of the pref network.http.max-connections has been increased from 30 to 256 in Firefox 6+ versions.

Try to decrease the value of the pref network.http.max-connections from 256 to 30 as used in Firefox 3 versions.
