I suddenly cannot log into my gmail account using FFOX 3.6.25 and Mac OSX 10.4.8.11. this started only a one day ago- and when i enter user/ password the browser attempts to load the mail but enters an endless loop.

i am able to log into my gmail using Safari and can load all other sites via FFox- just not gmail.

i emptied the cach/ cookies etc and restarted FFOx and the computer- still no joy. Any suggestions?

If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.

Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
