Is it OK to delete cache files in profile folder. I have more than 20 in there . Can I just keep the latest?

My default Profile folder at 8xvafniu.default currently contains Cache folders numbered up to 23, an OfflineCache folder and startupCache folders numbered up to 6. Can I delete these leaving me only with the latest numbered Cache folder and startupCache folders. The OfflineCache folder I will keep, of course, along with the 2 urlclassifier files. Thanks for your help.

No, you need to keep all cache folders. Firefox 4+ versions use a different cache structure and spread to files over sub folders to make it possible to store more files in the cache.
