Anytime I access Homedepot.com I am automatically redirected to Read Admin.Brightcove.com. I then just get a blank screen and no action occurs. How can I get rid of being redirected to Read Admin.Brightcove.com?

Sites like Home Depot use Brightcove as a video hosting provider.

Although the Home Depot home page pulls in a script from Brightcove -- and you will see that down toward the bottom of the page in an overlay as it loads -- Firefox shouldn't actually redirect away from homedepot.com to brightcove.com. Does the URL bar change?

Does it work if you reload the page once or twice? You could try Ctrl+Shift+r to bypass any cached pages when you reload.

If the page is consistently stalling trying to read from Brightcove, it could be due to an add-on that blocks it (e.g., ad blocker, script blocker) or due to an external block (security software, hosts file). This can be challenging to track down...

Jscher,

Thank you for your suggestion. I eventually went to Tools and selected Clear Recent History and I select Everything and it cleared the problem up.

Thank you again for your response.
