I miss when I could just type "facebook" into the address bar and hit enter, and it took me to FaceBook. Now, it takes me to a Yahoo! search. I don't like Yahoo! or any of it's features. I already disabled the toolbar, but what else can I do at this point? Every other change I am very excited for. Oh! And also, when I click to open a new tab, my boxes with my recent and favorite websites are there, but without images. Help?

hello, please use the search reset addon in order to reset the yahoo keyword search in the locationbar to the default: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/

the thumbnails for the new tab page are stored in the cache, so in case you've set firefox to create no cache (in options > advanced > network) or delete the cache on shutdown (options > privacy) it might not work....

The thumbnails on the new tab page are missing - how to get them back
