I keep getting a pop-under with http://securebrowserupdate.com/ that want's me to update firefox. When I go to Mozilla.org it tells me my browser is up to date. Not sure if this is a phishing sceme or not

it seems you have a malware installed. Please make a complete antivirus scan and clean your computer.

Check also through the Content panel in the Preferences window that Pop-up blocking is turned on.

By default, Firefox is configured to automatically check for updates. They will be downloaded in the background and installed when you restart Firefox.

If an update has been waiting to be installed for more than 24 hours, you'll see a notification with the option to restart Firefox and install the update.
