I guess Firefox moguls have elected to adopt a typical Microsoft "skrew yoo" attitude. Typical.

I think there weren't enough volunteers available to staff live chat, and given the choice of how to allocate resources, the knowledge base and forum were given priority because they reach many more users through search engines. Lately volunteers have taken to Twitter.
