The support article that covers "FBchat", How does Facebook Messenger for Firefox work?, probably needs to be updated for Firefox Aurora.

Firefox Aurora is a pre-beta test build, which means it's still a "work in progress". I'm not testing it myself. If you don't get a better answer from someone familiar with Aurora, here is a bug report I found on the Social API sidebar, in case it helps:

  • Bug 960198 - No obvious option to unhide SocialAPI sidebar
