When I open Firefox, I get a page with New tab at top and my bookmarks tool bar. I cannot open anything from it. Chrome and Internet Explorer work fine.

I think it is a corrupted profile. Go through this and should be able to help you. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data

Do remember to save bookmarks/passwords/profile before working on them.

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if that works.

  • Windows: hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox
