Wildcard certificate with error ONLY in Firefox
I renew the certificates of some of my domains which already used a wildcard certificate for some years ( *.example.com ).
I had change some intermediate certificates that had change from SHA-1 to SHA-256 but everything seem to be right. At this moment I'm getting problems with the certificate ONLY in Firefox. In Chrome and IE everything is OK but Firefox keeps giving me the error: «The certificate is only valid for the name *.example.com (Error Code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)»
Anyone experienced something similar?
Thanks for all help

Hi there.
Firefox's handling of certificates became stricter in recent updates. The chain has to be absolutely correct now, which I understand was not the case in the past and is still not the case with some browsers.
As I have limited knowledge of certification, I can only dig up some old answers for you and hope they help: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/948317 (Firefox error) https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1045111 (Firefox error) http://stackoverflow.com/questions/29018917/when-does-firefox-throw-ssl-error-bad-cert-domain-with-a-wildcard-certificate (domain levels).
Thanks but the links given aren't what I was seeking!
