Multi-account containers, multiple gmail accounts - signing out issue

I'm trying to keep my work gmail and personal gmail in separate containers. I've assigned mail.google.com and accounts.google.com to my Work container, and it works fine in that container.

When I try to sign IN to my personal gmail in a personal tab, it still works fine if I select "Would you still like to open in this current Container?" -> "Open in container". But when I sign OUT, I get the same prompt multiple times and each opening a new tab. I believe this is because gmail does some redirecting during the sign-out process. If I don't go through all these container prompts, I don't get signed out.

I'm probably missing something obvious, but how exactly do I achieve different gmail accounts in different containers if they all use the same domain?

Cheers!

Thank you - I tried disabling Total Cookie Protection (and also Enhanced Tracking Protection) and I'm still seeing the same issue.

I'm surprised others aren't encountering this issue. Maybe people aren't logging out regularly?

Many of the tabs open with accounts.google.com. Is there some way I can make this domain open in any container without a prompt?

No solution here, but I would personally advise against assigning any website you want to use in multiple containers to any container at all. As far as I have found, you may be unable to remove the "always open in x container" rule after you've made it, despite there technically being a process to do so. (That short process is detailed here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1323092 . However, when I followed it, my gmail continued to exclusively open in only one container, no matter what I did.) Ultimately, I was only able to "unlock" my gmail to be able to use it in multiple containers again by completely deleting the container it was assigned to.

(Here's my post from when I tried to get help, so you can see just how... "helpful" the advice I got was: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1384493?utm_campaign=questions-reply&utm_source=notification&utm_medium=email#answer-1523616 )
