How can I set a Thunderbird account we are no longer using to forward to another Thunderbird account so that I don't miss any important emails?

We have a Thunderbird account that we will not be using, but as we have people start switching over to emailing another Thunderbird account, it would be easiest if all emails come to the new address. How do I set up the old one to automatically forward all incoming mail to another address? Thanks!

There is no such thing as a Thunderbird account. Email providers provider email accounts. Forward the old account at your providers server. Log into your account at the providers webmail site and forward it there.
