error message when trying to send emails "The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) xxxx was lost in the middle of the transaction."
I keep getting the following sending error message and it does not happen all the time. Sometimes, if I continue to click send multiple times it will eventually send and other times I need to reboot by machine. I have 3 email accts. One is through Gmail and the other two are through Rackspace
Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) secure.emailsrvr.com was lost in the middle of the transaction. Try again.

What is your anti-virus software?

Try to start Windows 10 in safe mode with networking enabled. Does the problem go away?
The problem does not happen all the time, just sporadically. I can't be in Windows safe mode all the time.
Windows safe mode disables anti-virus software. So it isn't a solution, but a troubleshooting step to determine whether anti-virus software is the culprit.
oh ok. the problem is, right now it is not happening. I will wait to see when it happens again and I will try it.
