Were you using Firefox or Google Chrome because that actually sound like a feature of Google Chrome to me.
- Current Page: "TR:" bookmarklet see http://dmcritchie.mvps.org/firefox/kws.htm
- Selected Text: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/gtranslate/
- Automatic: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/foxlingo-translator-dictionary/ (looks like overkill over 1MB download)
Using firefox but have google chrome now installed. Googled ""translate automatically Spanish to english and nada.... Do you happen to know a link to have computer automatically do this for me...did in the past just can not recall how. Gracias
The large extension that I indicated looks like overkill has an automatic translation option if I read the description properly.
I really only need to translate an occasional page and use the translate bookmarklet ("TR:").
See if you see an extension that looks recognizable for what you had before.
addons: translate OR translation language OR English OR Spanish automatic OR instantly
