I'd like to get rid of the Google search bar that is suddenly appearing above my favorite pages whenever I open a new tab.
Hi, it seems a few others have also had this problem - since I updated to Firefox 31 (I think - it's Aug. 2014), whenever I open a new tab there's a Google search bar above my most-visited sites. I really, really don't want it there and will never use it.
Someone suggested going into the "customize" portion of the menu and dragging it away, but that didn't work at all. Any suggestions welcome :)
