Content encoding error
At random times every single website I attempt to view greets me with the "Content Encoding Error" message. It is getting extremely frustrating. I have cleared my cache. Cleared my cookies. Even tried modifying the encoding string in the config. All did nothing. This is driving me insane. 1 seconds it will work the next nothing works. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

What Firefox version are you using as your System Details list doesn't show a user agent?
You can check the value of the network.http.accept-encoding pref on the about:config page.
You can check for problems with preferences.
Delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.
Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Open the Add-ons Manager <Control><Shift> A and disable All of them.
