Since about two weeks the right click doesn't work in firefox, how do i resolve this?
I always used the Nightly version of Firefox, so I figured it was a bug in the new update. But by now I completely removed Nightly, and installed the normal Firefox, but still nothing happens after rightclicking in the screen > in, e.g. the bookmark toolbar it does work properly, but not anywhere while browsing!

Are you still using the same profile folder that you used with the Nightly build (35.0a1)?
If you do then you should create a new profile.
See "Creating a profile":
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
With downgrading from a possibly unstable Nightly build you should even be more restrictive with what to recover.

Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that turns off some settings, disables most add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:
- In Firefox 29.0 and above, click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
- In previous Firefox versions, click on the Firefox button at the top left of the Firefox window and click on Help (or click on Help in the Menu bar, if you don't have a Firefox button) then click on Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
- On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
Also, you may want to consider a new Profile for the Firefox 32 Release version. Reverting versions the Profile is used with can or will cause other problems with Firefox. Updates are intended to "progress", not revert.
The mouse works correctly outside of Firefox, Yes?
Some added toolbar and anti-virus add-ons are known to cause Firefox issues. Disable All of them.
both didn't help. I disabled the add-ons, only four of seven installed add-ons were enabled anyway, this didn't help. I started in safe-mode also same problem persists!
yes, even in the bookmark toolbar, right-clicking works normally. But not on any site I visited. I suspected flashplayer, completely uninstalled and re-installed it already, including reboot before re-install, and a cleaning of temp and ram etc.
Open the add-ons manager and disable Everything, including plugins.

Thanks, creating a new profile solved the problem
