I really want to help Mozilla and I'm concerned if my IP address is shared to the wide public. I'm having a bit of trouble in understanding the privacy policy since English is not my native language.

I'm referring to this exact phrase from Telemetry : " Your IP address is also collected as a part of a standard web log. Usage statistics are transmitted using SSL and help us improve future versions of Firefox. Once sent to Mozilla, usage statistics are aggregated and made available to a broad range of developers, including both Mozilla employees and public contributors. "

Who are the "public contributors" ? Should I be concerned? Please advise.

hi niuwz, as mozilla is an open source project where everyone is welcome to help, "public contributor" refers to people contributing to mozilla projects without being an employee (the same like most of us helpers here in the support forum). in regards to telemetry: your IP address or individual telemetry data is NOT shared publicly - what is shared are the aggregated statistics covering all the submitted by all users with telemetry switched on. based on that you can discover things like X% of all firefox users also have set firefox as their default browser. this is accessible at https://telemetry.mozilla.org/
