I sometimes see a red dot at the top of the tab--what does it mean?
I use Firefox 41.0 on Windows 7 Sometimes get a small red dot at the top of the tab. I can't figure out what this means? Any ideas?

Taking a Screen shot; Windows > Start > search box > Snip. Select Snipping Tool.
Save the picture(s) to your desktop. Now look at the Reply box below. Press the button under it that says Browse. Now select the screen shot(s) from the desktop and load them one at a time.
I'll try to do that. They come and go.

I'm clueless--how do I make a screen shot a jpeg?
If you type mspaint.exe in the start menu search box and press Enter, that will launch Paint. Then you can paste your screen shot and save it as a PNG file. Unless there is a photo in the image, PNG usually gives the best combination of compression and quality. If there's a photo, JPEG works best.
