Hello- Recently the way downloaded pdf's are displayed on my desktop are with a "@ File" icon instead of a thumbnail of actual document. The doc name also reads as "user/chris/download/blah blah blah.fileloc" rather than the actual name of the file. This means I need to click it to find out what the pdf is rather than knowing by seeing it. Maddening- please advise.

Thanks in advance!

Another Mac user reported an issue with downloads having .fileloc at the end, but that thread is still in discussion and doesn't appear to be solved. Some of the back and forth still might be useful: .fileloc.
