I installed recently Netvideohunter as an add-on to Firefox. I was able to download a couple of videos from Youtube. I encountered a couple of problems:

1) One of the videos from Youtube, same series that I downloaded successfully, appears with a 'null' address on the Netvideohunter window and it does not download (although it plays well on Youtube.com).

2) When I go to the Netvideohunter.com website it immediately jumps to other websites which promote some dodgy products/services. (I ran the normal security scan to make sure there are no worms and all is ok. Also this is the only website that I have this type of problem.)

3) I'd like to know also how you control the image(s) displayed on the Netvideohunter window.

Would appreciate your help with these issues.

Thanks

Thanks much for your advice Fred.

I installed the video downloader you suggested but to use it with the video I needed (22 min long) I'd have to purchase the premium version. I installed another downloader that let me do the job. Thanks anyway for your help, appreciated.

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

Normal scanners may not pick up malware. Use the free scanners listed.

It's really a one-year extended options fee.
