I am trying to install the lastpass extension from your repository but I get an error message: "The add-on could not be installed because it does not match the add-on Firefox expected."

I have tried several solutions available online with no success. It is version 52.2.1 and the add-on does say it's supported. Also I am not able to update it as this version we require to run silverlight.

Please could you assist in getting it working?

Have you tried https://www.lastpass.com/ and click the Get It Free Button ? or you could post in their forum for support https://forums.lastpass.com/

Yup their support page has your answer : https://lastpass.com/support.php?cmd=showfaq&id=8986

Silverlight is a security risk and is depreciated.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

It is possible that security software (anti-virus, firewall) is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference.
