I am in The UK. I have TalkTalk Supersafe Boost, which is a protection software written by F-Secure. It is free from the phone and broadband provider. I have successfully installed a browser extension for Safari (I'm on a MacBook Pro), but everytime I try to install the browser extension for Firefox, it refuses to install. The F-Secure company won't help me. The broadband [rovider (TalkTalk) are fairly clueless.

So: 1. Do I really need it or is Firefox robust enough without it? 2. If I do need it, why won't the browser extension install?

I hope someone can help, because it's REALLY annoying .

Hello, no you do not need their extension, Firefox has Google Safe Browsing and sand boxing on by default, this will be sufficient to protect you from malicious downloads and websites. Thank you for your concern!
