The icon for Flash Video Downloader was right between the address text box and the search text box. After getting updated to firefox version 57.0 the icon is gone. The add-on for it is still listed as an add-on, but I can't find the icon anywhere or figure out to use it. Do you know where it went, or how I can get the icon back with the other controls so I can use it again???

Has been disabled as has been marked Legacy in the Extension area for last 8mos. If you go to Extensions you will still find it in Legacy, Click the blue button to help you find a replacement and there are.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Flash Video Downloader isn't listed under Legacy. It is still listed as an active extension, that's why I can't figure out where the icon went or how to run it. It was active and working until last week when I got updated to version 57.0!

Ok well Mozilla ok's Extensions submitted by Developers for use with Firefox and provides a web page for distribution only.

Please see the Developers page https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flash-video-downloader/ for Support as it is listed there along with contact info.

If on that Extension page Look for the Gear Icon and click and update.

There are also other programs is this search : https://www.google.ca/search?q=firefox+Flash+Video+Downloader&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=v6oUWuPZLs-BiAPfg5jwCQ

versions 16.0.2 and later of Flash Video Downloader are web extension versions so they may be more basic compared to the old legacy extensions. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/flash-video-downloader/versions/

I figured it out. The Firefox download icon and the Flash Video Downloader icon looked the same. The Firefox icon was all the way to the right of the screen, where as the Flash Video Downloader was more to the center of the screen. I now only have one download icon and it is all the way to the right of the screen. I thought it was the Firefox download icon, but it wasn't, it's the Flash Video Downloader icon. When I down load a page, document or anything else the Firefox download icon "appears" in the same location where the Flash Video Downloader icon had been located in my past version of Firefox, more to the center of the screen. So things are good and everything is working correctly, thank you very much.
