Hi, when I insert a table and start tying in one cell, the width of that cell expands (much more than a character width). It seems column width is uncontrollable. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong. Also, I can't delete a table by highlighting it. The Delete option is greyed out. the only way to delete is to click on the row (x)s one by one.

thanks,

dan

after you insert the table with the insertion point in a cell to make sure the correct table is chosen if there is more than one. Format menu. table cell properties.

Change the cell width to a set percentage of the table width.

Is there no way to adjust the table width by sliding one end of the column? What is going on with the default table. when I start to type the other columns quickly are made narrow on one side at the rate of 10 spaces for each character typed. It seems strange as a default thanks
