Why does Firefox ask for video and microphone permissions on random websites, including google homepage?

Recently, I've had the system (I'm on android) pop up saying Firefox wanted camera and microphone permissions. At first I just thought I was hitting websites with malicious ads, or a virus, but after doing a factory reset (for other reasons), I switched to firefox beta, and I still get these pop ups and even had it happen when the only open webpage was google.

I always deny, because there is no reason or need for them.

Does anyone know why this happens and how to stop it? I don't upload or share data through my browser nor do I use chat services (I have a separate app fof that).

Please read, I'm not uploading images nor using irc (nor anything similar). Nothing listed on the support page is happening, hence the question. It even occured on the google homepage, as in the last place you'd be uploading or interacting with anything more than mouse and keyboard.
