When hitting REPLY, TB adds extra two lines at top of reply section. WHY?

See attached for description of the problem. This just happened this morning. When hitting REPLY or REPLY TO ALL to any email, the line spacing between the place to enter your response and the old copy IMMEDIATELY CHANGES WITHIN ONE SECOND from the proper two lines of blank space shown on the left picture to the right picture showing two extra lines of space that I have to delete. How do I stop the addition of the two extra lines? PS: I do NOT have "Paragraph box checked" in the composition window as default in the composition window. I am using TB Version 52.8.0 on Windows XP.

Todd-Hall,

You solved the problem for me. It was one of the add-on items that was causing the problem.

Many thanks

Bob

I notice you have the word 'Stationary', so this implies you use an addon.

Suggest you check to see if you see the same issue in Thunderbird Safe Mode.

'Help' > 'Restart with addons disabled'

If you do not see an issue, then you probably have an addon which is causing the issue. Maybe the addon needs updating. As this effects the 'Write' window and you use 'Stationary', I would check this addon first.

Which addon caused the issue? Did it need updating?

I found the addon "Quote And Compose Manager" version 0.4.1 caused the problem. I disabled it. The programmer is NOT updating that addon anymore.

Thanks again for your help.
