why won't Firefox connect me to ighome.com, my home page, saying it is configured improperly, even though I have been using this site for over 5 years?
I used my home page, ighome.com, this afternoon on Firefox and have been using it for over 5 years. Suddenly I get this notice:
Your connection is not secure
The owner of www.ighome.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.

Looking on your site I see that other people have had the same problem connecting to their bank after many years of no problems and other sites. I would hate to stop using Firefox and go back to Chrome. Please sort this.

This happens if you access the website via a secure HTTPS connection. This website doesn't have a certificate installed and only works with http:// So make sure you use the open http://ighome.com/ variant and not the secure https://ighome.com/ variant. If you use an extension that forces a secure connection then you need to create an exception.
