Multiple tab selection
Question:
Is there any way to achieve multiple tab selection to perform the same action on several tabs at once?
Expected:
In a file browser it is possible to select multiple files usually by holding CTRL and clicking on several files. It's then possible to do multiple move, copy, delete, etc.
Actual:
When I try doing this "natural" action in Firefox Desktop, normal clicking happens for tabs instead of an expected selection.
I did look at the shortcuts but it doesn't appear to exist: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly#w_windows-tabs
Use cases:
- Moving multiple tabs from one window to another
- Closing multiple tabs at the same time
- Duplicating several tabs at a time
- Moving multiple tabs into their own window
Particularly this would apply to users that are tab hoarders.
Chosen solution
Note that a multiple tab feature is being worked on for Firefox 63.
- Bug 1458007 - Allow multiselect operations on tabs

Hi, limited. You may have to refine search some more : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/search/?platform=linux&q=multiple%20tabs

Sounds good. Looking forward to it!
I checked the add-on/extension solutions @Pkshadow suggested and found them janky - I guess that because of security reasons they can't access the Firefox UI in any meaningful way.
