On my credit unions' website none of the links taking me to the web page for the information I wanted to see. I get this error: "The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

I've cleared cache and cookies and still the same problem.

The links work with Internet Explorer 11 but also do not work with Chrome which says that there are too many redirects.

The number of redirects that Firefox tries before showing this warning is set via a pref on the about:config page.

You can try to increase the value if this pref temporarily to a value like 100 as a test to see if that works.

  • network.http.redirection-limit (default:20)

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.

But it is possible that there is a problem with the website if Google Chrome has the same issue.

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?
