Whenever I right click on a link and select "Open Link in A New Tab", the link opens in a new tab in the background, but then immediately closes as soon as (or for all I know just before) it finishes loading said tab. I then must go into my history and open the last closed tab to see that tab.

Hi, one of your extensions may be causing this: Hold down the Option key when you start Firefox to start in Safe Mode. More - Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

If it works in Safe Mode, restart Firefox, then disable any theme and your extensions - 3-bar menu > Add-ons > Themes/Extensions and restart Firefox again; then if it's OK, re-enable them one by one until you find the culprit. You may need to restart Firefox after enabling some extensions. Open Link in Foreground is a top suspect, but since you have a lot it may be another one.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please help other users by marking the best reply as Solved. Thank you!
