I press F11 to go fullscreen, but it only hides the bookmarks bar, not the searchbar. I also tried the button in the menu to go fullscreen, but encountered the same problem. I closed the browser and tried again, to no avail.

Chosen solution

Hello Marcus,

You can right-click the Tab Bar or the Navigation Toolbar in full screen mode (F11) and make sure that "Hide Toolbars" has a check mark.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

I hope resolve the problem
