With this new version of Firefox for android I am unable to view a downloaded pdf file. With the old version the pdf file was passed to a pdf reader, in my case XOXO, but this is not the case with this version. I've searched for an add on but there isn't one. This is disappointing, if I cannot read a pdf in the android browser then there's little point in using it.

Hi Nigel

Thank you for your question.

Firefox for Android does not have a built in .pdf reader. Once downloaded to your device, you should be able to select the file and be asked which app you wish to use to open it with.
