Firefox currently has 3 different versions for Android. 1. Firefox Nightly 2. firefox beta 3.Firefox

Both FF nightly and FF beta are test software and seem to duplicates. Why not just have one test browser?

As had been mentioned, Beta updates in line with the Firefix release train to increment to new versions, much in the same Nightly does.

With regards to features, these change and update regularly in Nightly. I recommend that you install it and give it a try.

Where does that leave FF for android neither a beta or a test yet it does not have the basic about:config feature or is that no longer correct?

If both the beta and nightly have about:config how can FF for android be a valid app.

Beta is a version that users can use to test Firefox for Android either for new features or test their website.

About:config is unavailable in the release version for the reasons given.

I am going to close this thread as there does not appear to be any support issue we can help with, but you are welcome to continuing to learn more about Firefox for Android in its dedicated discussion forum at:
