Radars and Bing maps will not load anymore

more options

Local TV Station Radars and Bing maps will not load anymore. However, the weather channel radar does work. Weird. Running Firefox 90.0.0(64bit) on Win 10. Tried deleting all cookies and cache- no joy. Tried safe mode- no joy. All Radars and Maps work in Edge, but not Firefox. What else can I do?

Thanks!! Jon Abel

Chosen solution

The radar works for me.

I see the CORS request error, but this isn't causing a problem. I do see some Websocket related errors reported. I see some WebGL warnings, so WebGL is used like I wrote above.

This also still works with Enhanced Tracking Protection being enabled.

Could be a problem with WebGL.

Any WebGL related messages in the Web Console ?

Make sure you are not blocking content.

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Thank you cor-el. Sometime I get 8 errors, sometimes 3. Here is a screen shot of the errors. Anything helpful in there?

Can you provide a screenshot so that we can see the issue?

jonzn4SUSE thank you for your reply. Here are 3 screenshots as requested. One showing firefox info, one showing the missing radar from the local weather web page. Should be between those 2 ad banners. One showing the bing maps page missing all the navigation buttons on the right side and the buttons you can see do not work either. These pages used to work just fine until about 3 months ago. And they work on other laptop in the house.

Thanks, Jon Abel

Same issue under a different account? How about going to Dev, Nightly, or previous version to see what happens.

So I went and did some research on the WebGL you mentioned. Seemed like the most relevant comment was out of date graphics drivers. I have one of the Nvidia graphics cards and it seems to update its drivers almost every week, and I don't always do it because it is annoying. So I went and did that, then installed a bunch of Win 10 optional updates that I didn't think I needed previously...............................and WALA !!, both the radar page and the Bing Maps page are now working!! Thanks cor-el for pointing me in this direction!!
