Hi,

I am trying to access the Lightning calendar addon. I have searched around and seen that possibly the Lightning calendar addin is included in the Thunderbird client download. Is that true?

When I have Thunderbird open if I go to Tools-->Add-ons and Themes then I go not see Lightning when I click either Recommendations or Extensions.

Do I have to download Lightning separately? Also I want to mention that I am on a private network so I would need to download the offline Lightning installer.

In recent versions of Thunderbird , Lightning is now part of Thunderbird, it is not an addon.

The 'Calendar' can be opened in a new tab - look on far right of the tabs for a calendar icon.

OR use Menu app icon (3 horizontal lines) > Events & Tasks > Calendar

Thank you so much.

I found it using your instructions. I am confused why my Thunderbird calendar is not in synch with my Outlook calendar.

I am pretty sure they are both using the same exchange server. If I create a calendar event on the Thunderbird calendar I do not see it appear on the Outlook calendar and vice versa.
