Several sites I use (Yahoo, American Thinker) and occasionally other random sites won't load when I use your Add-Ons Privacy Badger, and Ublock. I get server can't be reached errors. I use ESET as my security app. Suggestions?

Solution! After much internet firtling in desperation, trying numerous browsers etc the answer lay in software conflict. I have SKY broadband and Bitdefender antivirus. Part of the SKY BB package is SKY shield. Troubleshooting there for websites not loading suggested turning off shield and see what happens. I have, and all has returned to normal service.

Hence software conflict between two security suites - I having forgotten about SKY shield running, as had been set up aeons ago.

So SKY shield off, use own AV software - result!

Learning curve here, but thanks to all for your thoughts and advice.
