Printing PDF files in Firefox 97 adds extra margins

more options

After release 97 was installed, my PDF tax files no longer print correctly because an extra margin gets added top, left, right, and bottom. It is visible in the preview, and that's the way it prints. Nowhere can I find a margin adjustment. What is even stranger is that this only happens with "fillable" tax files which I downloaded from IRS and filled in with Firefox, some in release 96 and some in 97. In release 96 they printed correctly, but not in release 97. Do I need to use a different browser?

Chosen solution

I'm not sure what is causing that. The quickest workaround would be to print from your stand-alone PDF application (and make sure it is set to actual size rather than fit to page).

When you are displaying a PDF in Firefox's built-in PDF viewer, there is a download button on its toolbar you can use for that:

If you started filling in Firefox, that probably will not carry over your edits, but I haven't tested.

Thank you, that worked (using Adobe Reader DC).

PS: Firefox really should be able to handle this correctly...
