I used to have bookmarks and other sites I've pinned to the home page on firefox android.

Now every page I visit is showing? Not just the site, but every page on that site, every search result. It's just junk pages filling my home page.

I'm hoping this is a bug and not some attempt to decide for me what I want on my home screen. It's really frustrating.

The only way around is to clear history on exit - but history is used - i just dont need every page i see being on my home screen.

(also the language at the bottom doesn't allow me to choose my language - English - ENGLISH. I don't speak US english.)

Hi

Are these sites alongside the top sites at the top of the home page, or are they listed under "Recently visited"?

If listed under Recently visited, you can turn this off by opening the Firefox for Android menu, select Customise homepage and turn off Recently visited.

I hope that this helps.

No this isn't it recently visited - I just turned that on to check. It's where you have your top sites.

i.e. one of mine is youtube. So i click the top sites shortcut to youtube, then browse some videos, search some videos. When I close the page, theres several new additions built up next to my top sites. If I press and hold on them, I get the options 'Open in private tab' or 'Delete from history'.

Hi,

I have looked into this and have been advised that it is a new feature that we have included in Firefox 100 that brings the same experience that users see in Firefox on the desktop.

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or developers. If you want to leave feedback for developers, you can go to this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.

Thanks Seburo. I think i'll just use a different browser - i can't see the feedback option making much difference.
