Greetings all I am a long time Chrome user trying to make the switch to Firefox. Mostly I love it, but one of my biggest roadblocks is Google Drive and Google Docs.

I'm very much a don't-take-your-hands-off-the-keyboard kind of guy and so I am heavily invested in the Google Docs menus and I have all the common menu commands memorized. (e.g., Alt-F, R to rename the current Google Doc.)

The problem on Firefox is that when I press Alt-F, I get the Firefox menu, not the Google Docs menu. So I have to resort to clicking the menu with the mouse instead of using the keyboard shortcut. Not the end of the world, but annoying.

Is there anyway to configure Firefox or Google Docs so I can use the Google Docs menus? Is there any sort of Add-on that would help with this?

Thanks Calvin Powers

Those are shortcuts for firefox and their site may or may not work for shortcuts in Docs in firefox. You can't override defaults in the browser shortcuts. Only opton is to use Chrome for Google Docs if you want commands and shortcuts to work since Google Docs is from Google themselves.
