You probably want the ESR version (115) which still receives security updates.
Hi Mark, did something change that you are trying to work around?
Hello, i have a vendor for VR that requires pre 120.0.1. I can't say exactly why. sorry.
Use FTP client or Firefox browser to navigate to Mozilla Archive Website. Ignore the folders which have values like .0b1 or .0b7, or .0b4 and so on. Those are nightly builds. In each of the folder there will be a Win64 build folder. Go ahead and based on the language locale you need download the exe or msi installable file.
Please do note that if you do use versions prior to 122, i.e. non ESR version non current version, you will be on your own.

Nobody has been able to download with FTP from Mozilla since August 5th, 2015 as they disabled the ftp:// protocol then. The ftp.mozilla.org is Not a FTP site.
The b# on end of version are for the Beta and Developer Edition builds as the Nightly channel builds will actually have a1 on end of version. The DE builds are the same as Beta but with additional developer features.
Thanks for the clarification on what b stands for.
I was able to download the firefox version 117 by navigating to the link http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/117.0.1/win64/en-GB/. I was also able to download the firefox ver 105.0.3 by using the exe link given in http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/105.0.3/win64/en-GB/
am I missing something over here?
Of course you can use a web browser to download Firefox from those links though Mozilla prefers people use https://archive.mozilla.org instead.
You may still be be thinking ftp.mozilla.org is FTP simply because ftp is in link.
The Mozilla FTP server used to be with the ftp:// protocol as in ftp://ftp.mozilla.org which of course will not work in any web browser recent or old since it was turned off back on August 5th, 2015.
Besides the ability to view and download from any still existing FTP sites was disabled by default in Fx 88.0 and then removed in Firefox from Fx 90.0 and later.

Anyways we are getting off topic for this thread.
